Deutsche InfraSoft started with 25 employees in December 2022. Three and a half years on, it is a profitable group: around 200 employees, ten locations, seven completed and integrated transactions, and the TOP 100 Innovator 2026 award.
On 31 July 2026, operational leadership passed to an experienced management team. This was not an exit but a planned change of role — from managing director to active shareholder. The shareholding remains in place and forms the cornerstone of the Van Houten & Co. portfolio.
What remains from these years is not a theory about value creation, but first-hand knowledge of how an integration actually unfolds: with hires that do not work out, with systems that refuse to fit together, and with teams that first have to be won over. That experience is the foundation of Van Houten & Co.
